Physical and Mental Balance

Balance body and mind with our comprehensive Tai Chi for Balance Program. The ten-week 2023 Spring Session runs from March 29 to June 9 (no classes May 17 and 19). You are welcome to join mid-session. The program is designed to improve overall physical and mental health. It includes two live-streamed classes on Zoom and unlimited access to online recordings of the live-streamed classes for two weeks after the classes are held. Movements can be done either standing or seated. All classes are taught by Lisa Rawson.

Tai Chi for Balance

Focus on improving your physical balance. This class includes Qigong, Tai Chi form, and Tai Chi movements that have been adapted to address balance-specific needs.

Livestreamed on Zoom

Fridays, 10:00-10:45 a.m.

Meditation and Qigong

Work on balancing mind and body through breathing, visualization, mindfulness, and movement. Over the course of the calendar year, the class explores the Daoist practice of living in harmony with the yin and yang of seasonal change.

Livestreamed on Zoom

Wednesdays, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

You can tailor the program to your individual needs and schedule by attending one live class or both, or by watching the recorded versions at your convenience. You can also use the recordings to repeat classes or even just parts of classes as desired.

If you have already enrolled in another class for the upcoming session, the Balance Program is available at a 10% discount.
